Capofaro Malvasia Resort, Lipari Island

This places makes the Top of our list due to the amazing location on the Aeolian Islands. It's no secret anymore that these lovely islands even beat the picturesque Amalfi Coast, while sunsets are even more adorable and high-end hotels most affordable. Spacious rooms, excellent food, best wines, sea views, vast spaces, crystal-clear sea and cheap boat rentals. It's still the favourite place of Mr Travel and Mr. Beverage Executive. La Suite Procida, Procida Island

HOT STATUS: 10/10

Hot like hell, this dazzling new star might be Europe's most stylish seaside hotel under 200 euros. Beside the affordable prices, we love the interior design which is a lot Antonio Citterio-like and therefore La Suite Procida has a little Bulgari vibe. Indoor pool, spa, outdoor pool with cool music, beach club and stylish rooms are the most attractive points of this hotel. Make sure to spend a lot of time outdoors, rooms can be on the small side. Anyhow suites are pretty affordable for 350 euros a night in high season. But remember not to forget your new bath shorts by ItalYachtClubwww.lasuiteresort.com

Locanda Al Colle, Camaiore

HOT STATUS: 8.0/10

This is a place where you should go when you can no longer see the blue of the ocean. An ultimative Tuscan getaway far from Montepulciano, crowded Florence and off the coastal town of Forte dei Marmi, but near enough when the Shopping Blues hit your sun lounger. Perfectly hidden on a wonderful hill, Locanda Al Colle could also be a stylish townhouse in Rome, Paris or London when it comes to interior design and cool furniture. With prices around 200 euros a night, this place is saving your love to Italy for another year.  www.locandaalcolle.com

HOT STATUS: 9.5/10

In love with sparkling wines? Ever heard of Prosecco? Well, thank god you never heard of Franciacorta, however staying in the Prosecco area, more precisely in the Valdobbiadene, just got more glamorous. A picturesque villa in the midst of Prosecco hills with top interiors, excellent beds, amazing bathrooms with mosaic walk-in showers, Etro toiletries and a Pierre-Yves Rochon look. Pull out the Cabrio, turn on Italian Music, make sure to bring your cigars and grab a bottle of Prosecco out of the many new boxes you just bought in Conegliano at Giavi. You're not convinved? Then better stay at home, this place is too cool for you!  www.relaisdarfanta.it

Torre di Moravola, Perugia

HOT STATUS: 10/10

If Aman Resorts would have a resort property south of Aman Venice, it would most likely look like this secret spot in Umbria. Well, while the region would not be my number one holiday destination, Torre di Moravola would definitely made it to the bucketlist. Spacious suites, lots of daylight, amazing yet minimalistic design paired with elegant and expensive furnitrue by B&B Italia and Minotti, as well as dedicated service. The only thing that's not Aman-like? The prices! www.moravola.com
