72 Hours at the Fortino Napoleonico, Ancona

If you are planning to go to the region of Marche in the mid of Italy's east coast, and you want to combine this trip with your leisure - then check-in at this historical place!

The Hotel Fortino Napoleonico is situated in the most panoramic and quiet area of the "Riviera del Conero", in a magnificient position among the green of the trees and the perfect blue of the Adriatic Sea. An ancient military fortress, erected between 1811 and 1813, now houses an elegant 4 star-hotel, opened in 1969, with a beautiful panorama and a relaxing atmosphere. The Fortino is lapped from the sea, two marvellous rocks called "Le Due Sorelle" and the famous romanic church "Santa Maria" di Portonovo, artistic jewel of the XI century, are in sight.  Fortino Napoleonico is surrounded from a white shingle long beach that contributes to make this corner of the Marches one of the most loved and exclusive of the whole Adriatic coast.

Converted in a luxurious hotel in 1969 after impressive restoration works, this fortress is the ideal setting for a relaxing day after stressful outlet shopping.

The rates are among the highest in the region, but the location as well as the whole property are just that great! It's a must for all luxury travellers!
