The bright side of life with Xarifa Swimwear

Today we are presenting you a new swimwear brand that is actually just perfect for your next getaway to any hot and/or beautiful destination. Some might say that you can only look for swim shorts in spring and summer, but we don't know where this comes from. Anyhow isn't fall the high season for wellness and spa resorts? Remember that the Caribbean and Maldives are in the final phase of preparing for high season, which begins when the first snow falls over here in Europe. So essentially it is never ever too late for your new bath shorts.

Back to the facts: Xarifa is a quite new swimwear brand we saw by chance at this year's edition of Pitti Uomo in Florence, Italy (...where else?) and I immediately fell in love with. You really see all different kind of brands, some with crazy patterns, some with ugly colours but actually only one brand was offering what I was really looking for: A vintage styled bath short, elegant, spreading a luxurious touch and of finest materials. Honestly, there is nothing more I don't like than lying on the towel on the beach lounger with a wet bath short. The towel will be wet for the rest of the day. So I was not really convinced of the shorts at first instance but after a presentation by the directors and designers, I was kind of attracted to these shorts, which by the way are still produced in Italy - well it does get even better. They are super-light, come in a separated bag in the same style as the shorts, dry immediately after you get out of the water as they are water-repellent and have such a cool vintage style like you cannot find it anymore. We chose the following two models and are really happy with them. Follow our Instagram site to see them at the coolest locations.

Let's be honest, it is simply impossible (in terms of style) to get out of the pool at Bulgari Hotel Milan or W Bangkok with a no-name branded bath short, well it might be possible but do you really feel like it's the right place not to show style. Every luxury traveler knows that hotel pools and beach clubs are not this anymore what they were supposed to be. Today they are like big open-air catwalks, one branded bath short after another and women tend to be styled even more beautiful than at some night clubs. No matter if you're at Monte-Carlo Beach, Majestic Barriere's new beach club, Le Sirenuse in Positano (it's probably THE place where you will buy a very chic bath short if you haven't got one to don't shine out of the crowd), Villa Dubrovnik or at the famous One&Only Reethi Rah - even if you have to share your own beach with just 7 other couples, they will recognise you extremely well. Since it will be the only thing you wear at the beach, it is well worth the investment and with Xarifa you even get quality and luxury.

A special thanks to Xarifa for providing us with the bath shorts, however our above written expresses our own opinion and has not been influenced.
